It just struck me (sometimes it takes a long time : that on this board I have one of the best audiences possible for helping me with a little task that I have (insert flattery emoticon here). The MG Car Club, MGF Register are producing a handbook for new members. OK, it's targeted at new members, but we'll also be sending it out to all existing members. Rob Bell owns the overall challenge of producing this handbook. One of my tasks within the project is to compile the section that will list useful suppliers and resources. Although we want this to be reasonably exhaustive, it can't list every single supplier or website that mentions the word MGF. We need to restrict it to a manageable size. The best guideline would be to consider what the 'average' MGF owner would like to know. Most are non-technical of course (like me!). The first draft can be downloaded here - www.mgcars.org.uk/carclub/mgfregister/temp/Suppliers_and_Resources.doc . Please take a look and let me know if you think I've missed some useful players. Many thanks, Dave

I was going to include Mountune on my web site listing Andy - but when I checked out their website this week, they've removed all reference to K-series tuning. Looks as though they've given up on that market Car Hood Warehouse? Not come across them before? Are they good?

Well done. ;D Dave, I've no idea about the amount of international MGCC members registered to the MGF-Register. Depending on, it may be useful adding some none UK suppliers ? Even if there are a few only, some advert regarding beeing an international club will not hurt. Just an idea. Depends on, which target has the Club with this manual Input to enthusiasts webside entries, The Link to www.mgcc/mgf is the search engine only. Would prefer www.MGFcar.de as my enthusiasts site and www.mgcc.de/mgf as 'independent' search tool regarding technical queries. This search engine is difficult to explain. (4me) There are indexed 355.000 keywords with reference to currently 950 different technical documents from about 10 webmasters. Q-checked the docs by myself only though.

I'd already got Motobuild Racing in Hounslow, but there's another Motobuild isn't there? Can't find them at the moment. Let me know if you come up with any more.

Good idea Dieter!
Have AMT got an english part to their site working yet? They have some good looking kit on their German language site - including water/oil heat exchangers!

Could get a survey at the BBS on next Monday. That would be great. Please ask people to judge which sites would be of most interest to the 'average' MGF owner and leave out those that have a very small MGF content. Can you please then email me with, or post here 1. the correct url 2. some sort of description of the site (you can see from my draft what I mean). That would be excellent. Many thanks, Dave

Anyone interested in getting a MGR parts sales himself ? cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2462950520&category=30170 ;D Seriously, the parts are 32.000 EURO new price and the black item in the middle-right pic (on bottom) looks like an original hardtop including hardtop cover. Errr, if I only had the space to store such mass. Seen myself to late though.
