I just took them from their official database and found some strong failures already. (public availiable list, if you know the url) Notice some speciallities not availiable at Rover. Alternator spare i.e. What do you think ? Is ist worth translation works Split the none MG cars related from the list ?? btw, notice the LADA entry ... LOL

Wow! What a project Dieter - a lot of work to be sure! I am not clear as to what the numbers refer to: catalogue numbers? The Lada Samara reference is pretty amusing: but what does it mean in terms of cross-compatibility?

I've no sense currently about the funny Lambda's They are 3 of at Bosch. Very confusing. May be only connectors may be different. 0 986 424 092 Bremsbelagsatz, Scheibenbremse ..means 0 986 424 092 Brake pads for front brake disk Gebrauchsnummern: 20 761, 424 092 B ..means Bosch P/N Vorderachse (Befestigung mit Schrauben ) ...means front axle (mounting with bolts) GBP 90320 / GBP 90337 / GBP 90337AF / GBP 90345AF / GPB 90320AF / SEM 100020 / SFP 000170 These are all affiliated Rover and MG part numbers And this is the lovely car they will fit as well LADA - SAMARA (2108, 2109) - 1300 02.96- - 50 68 1288 Means LADA-SAMARA, type 2108 and type 2109, 1300, made 02.96 onwards, 50kw/68PS 1288ccm engine. This means, you can source front brake pads at any LADA dealer, .. Russia or Hungarian trip will be no problem at all for MGF without Trophy 160 and MGTF with big brakes. 4your spares bookmark: www.lada.ru *manufacturers* site www.vaz.ru/Hungarian enthu. www.celtia.hu/ladaklub/english.htmlAND THEY CAN FLY ;D www.lada-samara.de/ Dohh, I think I'd get scalped at the BBS with this [glow=red,2,300]N E W S[/glow]

Dieter! So what is the plan for the website: basically showing Bosch part numbers for MGF/TF parts, and demonstrating other vehicles that share those same parts? I think this would be very very useful (and not just for our eastern european friends!) But in terms of showing the data, would it be easier to show a little less info (perhaps just the Bosch part number?) and present it in a table and list the vehicles that share that same part?

Of course, just what you said.
The current problem is verifying the use of at the other cars.
Will split the list in any way to individual pages with new header rows and put a picture to each. - Engine related - Alternator - Starter - brakes
