A good friend of mine (who's asked not to be named! LOL ) has kindly lent me his copy of Lorne Mason's porting video which should make some excellent viewing for all us Knitters... Time to start a video club at Chez Bell?

Unlikely to be this weekend Andy - so you're okay ;D Who else wants to join the Knitting video club? Worth transfering to DVD?

It arrived yesterday! Not had a chance to look at it though... Now all we need to do is to set a date for the video club! ;D

I haven't got the equipment to do this (although Norman has - Dave?) Better not make a charge for it - as this video is a commercial venture by Lorne, and he'd see this [rightly] as an infringement of copyright. So backup copy only, strictly for Knitters only and very hush-hush!

Just watched the vid - it's quite funny in a amateur kind of way - but enormously instructive. Unfortunately for Lorne, he made some expensive mistakes, BUT good for the viewer because it emphasises some of the pitfalls.
We'll need to arrange a video evening for those of us close enough to chez Bell to come and watch! For those less fortunate, I'll look into getting it into video format for 'back up' so you over guys can get to see it.
