Surely that won't fit to a modern MG/Rover?

I think that you're pretty much got the same spec as me Bob Well, other than the CRP. How are you finding your ground manifold? I'm delighted with the effect that it's had on mine. Now looking forward to seeing how well the 4-2-1 manifold will work I spoke to Mik at TS when I was up there last week - when they replaced the inlet manifold for me, Mik also ported my inlet manifold! Not sure whether he got to all the burrs inside the manifold though - but now I am really looking forward to getting the car on a RR again!!! ;D

A lot better but there is still some welding clag there which I couldnt take off due to no welder Considering getting a 2nd one to work on then swop for my existing one but dont fancy my chances of getting the lambda sensor out. Had a go at it when I had the manifold off. Tried it with a VERY big spanner and it wouldnt budge I'll go back to it in the summer when the weather is better! I've also got a 2nd inlet manifold that I was planning to fettle. Having seen the pics of a racespeed one it looks quite involved. I had hoped to do it in my spare time and then swop it over but it appears the best thing to do is remove my existing manifold. Make a template of the inlet ports on the head and then match the manifold to that. If I went and opened out the IM manifold ports as much as possible this would probably cause a big step between the IM and the inlet ports, disrupting air flow!

You're not wrong about the Lambda sensor Bob - Tim has a story about that... Are we sitting comfortably? Do you need to make a template for the inlet ports Bob? I was wondering whether the gasket was a fair approximation of the port size? Of course, what with the darkside beckoning, one could always port the cylinder head to match the inlet manifold gasket AND the inlet manifold! ;D I suspect that when Mik had a go at mine, he did a 'quick n dirty' - and not the very involved work that racespeed prepared.

ITG Maxogen TTB Miltek sports exhaust
Bog std but can see a few new mods coming uplike new down pipe but will see how the current one fairs next week at its 7 year MOT and 90K still on original down pipe although not much mesh left over joint.

Seem to remember you making a quite impressive +15BHP in MG World though Tom!

That was before the TTB ;)was fitted although have not really noticed much difference with the TTB although still gave dave a run for his money at Brands but could tell I had less power before braking for paddock as he was pulling away.
TTB I think just allows better air flow with the ITG and exhaust and smooths the power curve even more.

Tom certainly has a 'good un' - it was giving 3-4 bhp more than mine with similar mods? I might have a small advantage now that the manifold has been fettled and I have a cheeky FPR!
