Whilst making a prat of myself talking about brake pipes when actually I was looking at a fuel vapour pipe, for the first time I had a look at the vapour emmisions control system. Being an Environmental Consultant I could never endorse the disabling of the system but does putting the vapours back into the TB have a good or bad result on engine running? The Alfa had some running problems recently just after warm up and this was the first thing they disabled to try and improve things.

I don't think that it should have a significant impact Neil - as you know, it's just their to recycle the spent gases. Disabling it wouldn't have a detrimental effect - but there wouldn't be a too dramatic an improvement?
