Hi everyone,
Gone a bit quiet on here lately, but I still thought that this would be a good place to post this snippet of info:
I received this email from David Clelland:
"Dave,
I bought a wheel and tyre off Ebay yesterday for a spare (steel wheel won't fit over big front brakes) and the chap is breaking an 04 TF. He's asked me if I'm interested in anything else. Thought that someone might be interested in the remote thermostat system. E-mail address is mfjhaynes@aol.com
DC"
So, if anyone wants the PRT stuff - or anything else, drop this guy a line.

Do we know which model this car is Dave? A 135 or a 160?
I wonder if this is the same car as that eBay transaxle that was mentioned on the BBS recently?
I could be persuaded to get the oil cooler - if it has one - and if it is for the right price....

DC says he got a 15" wheel from it and so I guess it's not a 160 :-(

Hmm - it does sound like that 135 whose rear subframe and drive train was being offered on eBay recently.
Been wondering whether it would be possible to use TF rear suspension components in conjuction with Hydragas... with a few mods to the MGF rear subframe, I think that ought to be possible ;D

Practically all the iron mongary Dave The new control arm bolts to the front of the subframe, and the new lower wishbones pivot about a new bracket under the rear crossmember of the subframe. I wouldn't be able to do this - but perhaps Tech-speed would be able to weld on these brackets to an MGF subframe - or else modify a TF subframe to take Hydragas.... Probably not a cheap exercise - but the TF has far better rear geometry control compared to the F.

I've got visions of Rob's F, with TF coils and shocks on th erear and Hydragas '2 nipple job' on the front!
